Avail advised Juuri Partners-backed CoE Group on the acquisition of Product Design & Technical Documentation business from Gofore. The acquisition is a significant step in CoE Group’s growth strategy and supports CoE Group’s goal of building one of Finland’s leading players in technical engineering and expert services.

CoE Group is a Finnish engineering and consulting company that provides expert services particularly for the needs of customers in green energy, industry and the technology sector. The company is known for its strong technical expertise, its entrepreneur-driven operating model and its customer-oriented approach to delivering demanding projects. Juuri Partners, a Finnish private equity company and growth partner for SMEs, has been involved in CoE Group’s journey since 2022.

The business being acquired provides design services for physical products, equipment assemblies and technical documentation to customers in the industrial and defense sectors. The business is currently part of Huld Oy, which belongs to the Gofore Group. Upon completion of the transaction, approximately 120 product design and technical documentation experts will transfer to CoE Group.

The transaction isexpected to be completed on 1 September 2026, following the completion of HuldOy’s ongoing partial demerger.
